What is the culture like at Cordis?

At Cordis, we're united by a shared mission to transform cardiovascular care and improve patients' lives. Our culture is collaborative, empowering, and focused on helping teammates do their best work. We encourage people to share ideas, work across functions, and contribute beyond their immediate responsibilities. Because of our size and growth trajectory, teammates often have the opportunity to make a visible impact and help shape how the company evolves.

How does Cordis build and strengthen its culture?

At Cordis, culture is built intentionally. Our mission and POWER Values were developed through a global effort that included teammates from every region and function. Through surveys, focus groups, and conversations, teammates helped define who we are, what we stand for, and the culture we want to create together. With teammates driving the creation of our mission and POWER Values, we ensured they reflect both the realities of how we work today and the culture we aspire to build. The result is a set of values that resonate across our global organization and unite teammates around a shared purpose.

We also listen and learn through our annual Voice of the Teammate survey. The survey creates a shared understanding of our strengths and opportunities for improvement, and teams use the results to develop action plans that strengthen Cordis. Each year, these insights help drive meaningful improvements in engagement, communication, collaboration, and the way we work together, while advancing our strategy and making us a stronger company.

How does Cordis align teammates around its strategy and priorities?

At Cordis, we believe people do their best work when they understand how their role connects to the company's mission and goals. That's why we use the Success Tree, a simple, shared framework that provides a snapshot of who we are, how we operate, and what matters most. It brings together our mission, POWER Values, quality policy, key priorities, and measures of success in one place, creating alignment across the organization. It helps teammates understand where we're headed, how we define success, and how they can contribute to delivering results for patients, customers, and each other.

What opportunities does Cordis provide for career growth?

We believe career growth is a shared responsibility between teammates and leaders. Through annual performance and development discussions, teammates and managers align on goals, explore future opportunities, and create development plans that support both immediate success and long-term career aspirations.
